The Department of Mathematical, Physical and Computer Sciences - DSMFI (web: https://smfi.unipr.it/en, 167 employees, PhDs and research fellows) is one of the 9 academic and research departments of the University of Parma - UNIPR (1700 employees, about 30000 students). It is devoted to Physics (condensed matter, biophysics and particles), Mathematics and Computer Science. It hosts 3 undergraduate degrees, 2 MSc degrees (Physics and Mathematics), and 3 PhD degrees within the Science and Technology Doctorate School (Physics, Materials Science and Mathematics). UNIPR delivers 150 PhD students every year and it has been involved in 55 FP7 EU projects, of which 5 MC-ITN, and 56 H2020 EU projects, of which 6 MSCA-ETN.
Role in project
Co-supervision and PhD enrollment of the PhD student 4. Collaboration with CNR on the implementation of work package 4, 5 and 6 and participation as organizer and teacher in thematic schools.
